This isn’t the first time Madonna has ventured into Sondheim territory. The pop star performed his Oscar-winning song “Sooner or Later” in Dick Tracy. In fact, the material girl led another musical theatre composer to Oscar glory when she performed “You Must Love Me,” the Oscar-winning Andrew Lloyd Webber-Tim Rice song from the film adaptation of Evita.
