Tony nominee Melissa Errico returns to Off-Broadway's Irish Rep (where she starred in Finian’s Rainbow in 2016) for a production of Alan Jay Lerner and Burton Lane's 1965 musical On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. The revival began performances June 15 and will officially open June 28.
Watch highlights from the production in the video above, as well as interviews with Errico, who stars as Daisy/Melinda; Stephen Bogardus, who plays Dr. Mark Bruckner; and John Cudia, who plays Edward Moncrief.
In On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, a young woman goes to a psychiatrist to cure her smoking. There, the doctor discovers through hypnosis that she is the reincarnation of a well-born English lady with whom he becomes increasingly enamored.
Helmed by Irish Rep Artistic Director Charlotte Moore, the limited run of On a Clear Day You Can See Forever is scheduled through August 12.
Errico has been a special guest performer on Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas cruises. Cabins are now on sale for the Broadway on the Rhône River 2 cruise April 7–14, 2019, with a lineup of top Broadway stars to be announced.
