The New Directions made it to New York City all the way from Lima, OH, for the "ultimate singing showdown," also known as nationals. If you missed last night's "New York" finale or want to watch the original songs and performances for a second time, catch the May 24 "Glee" episode here on Playbill.com.

When the Gleeks make their New York City arrival, they are set on performing original songs for the competition. When looking for some inspiration, they hit Times Square, the TKTS booth, Lincoln Center and even the Gershwin Theatre—home of Broadway's Wicked.

However, the students aren't the only ones with New York City dreams. While the New Directions are busy preparing for the competition, glee club director Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) heads to the Broadway stage for an audition. Does he land the job? Would he make the move?

Also, while in "the city of love," as Noah Puckerman (Mark Salling) likes to call it, the "L word" is dropped quite a few times—and no, not Lebanese. Find out who says, "I love you," who shares an unexpected kiss, and who starts a new relationship.
