At the end of July, Tony nominated-actor Ramin Karimloo took to the concert stage outside of his regular Broadway gig in Anastasia, where he plays Russian soldier Gleb.
Performing at B.B. King Blues Club and Grill in Times Square, Ramin Karimloo and the Broadgrass Band—the singer’s bluegrass-style music group—serenaded a sold-out crowd.
On August 6, Karimloo posted a video of his performance of “It All Fades Away” from Jason Robert Brown’s Tony-winning score of The Bridges of Madison County.
Karimloo first debuted on Broadway as Jean Valjean in the most recent revival of Les Misérables, but has performed as the title role in The Phantom of the Opera and originated the role of the Phantom in the U.K. production of Love Never Dies, for which he earned an Olivier nomination. In 2012, his band released their first album Human Heart, followed up by The Road to Find Out: South and The Road to Find Out: East.
