Hours before opening the new Broadway musical Ain’t Too Proud — The Life and Times of the Temptations, the five leading men stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to sing two Temptations hits (which then aired during its usual late night slot) March 21.
Written by MacArthur Genius recipient Dominique Morisseau, directed by Des McAnuff. and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo, the musical follows the Motown sensation from their founding through their reunion tour.
The group regaled Fallon’s audience with the hits “Get Ready” and the title “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg.” Watch the performance in the video above.
Ain’t Too Proud currently plays Broadway’s Imperial Theatre.
