Sponsored Content WATCH The Prom Crash a Tony Awards® Viewing Party Just because the new musical comedy doesn't start until October 23 doesn't mean its stars didn't want to enjoy the 2018 Tony Awards®!

The Prom doesn't begin performances on Broadway until October 23, but that wasn't going to prevent stars Beth Leavel, Josh Lamon, and Caitlin Kinnunen from enjoying the 2018 Tony Awards® together!

The boisterous trio stopped by an actual Tony Awards® viewing party—hosted by Marcus and Laurel—an hour before the 72nd Annual Tony Awards® began on CBS to mingle with the revelers, enjoy some appetizers—and provide photo opportunities with Beth's very special friend, Jessica.

The Prom, directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, tells the story of an Indiana high schooler barred from bringing her girlfriend to the prom—and the group of eccentric Broadway folk who infiltrate the town in an earnest, misguided attempt to fight the injustice.

Reprising their performances from the 2016 Atlanta world premiere will be Tony winner Beth Leavel, Tony nominees Christopher Sieber and Brooks Ashmanskas, Caitlin Kinnunen, Isabelle McCalla, Angie Schworer, Josh Lamon, and Courtenay Collins. Joining them for the Broadway bow is Michael Potts.
