Broadway News Watch The Voice’s Addison Agen Sing Waitress’ ‘She Used to Be Mine’ The singer used the Sara Bareilles song to compete in the Top 12.

On November 20 singer Addison Agen pulled from Broadway’s Waitress for her performance in the television reality singing competition The Voice.

As part of Team Adam—coached by Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine—Agen sang the Sara Bareilles-penned “She Used to Be Mine.” Now in Season 13, The Voice begins with blind auditions, where vocal coaches choose members of their team based only on the sound of their audition.

The 16-year-old Agen made it to the Top 12 after singing “Jolene” for her initial blind audition when all four judges turned their chairs around. From Fort Wayne, Indiana, Agen has been writing her own songs since she was 11.
