The Bandstand star sang and danced her way through the Independence Day celebration.

In honor of Independence Day, Tony-nominated performer Laura Osnes sang a medley of patriotic tunes as part of PBS’ 2017 A Capitol Fourth celebration. Watch her performance in the video above.

Osnes currently stars in the Tony-winning Broadway musical Bandstand as World War II war widow Julia Trojan. When she meets her late husband’s best friend from the war, she joins his band of veterans in a quest to win a national song competition and heal the wounds of war through music.

The actor was nominated for a 2017 Drama Desk Award for her performance.

Osnes has been a special guest performer on Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas cruises.
