News   Watch Video from Neil LaBute's Film "Dirty Weekend," Starring Matthew Broderick and Alice Eve Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick stars with Alice Eve in the forthcoming film "Dirty Weekend," written and directed by playwright Neil LaBute. The film is scheduled to open in cinemas and via Video on Demand on Sept. 4.

Broderick (The Producers, Nice Work If You Can Get It, It's Only a Play) will co-star with Eve (Rock n Roll) in the film about a businessman (Broderick) who ends up in a city where, a year before, he had an unexpected drunken encounter that has haunted him ever since. With the aid of a co-worker (Eve), he attempts to figure out the details of the night.

LaBute's plays include Reasons to Be Pretty, Reasons to Be Happy, The Shape of Things, The Break of Noon, Fat Pig and The Mercy Seat, among others.
