News Weimar New York — with Tony Winner Michael Cerveris — to Play Joe's Pub Weimar New York, which will feature "performers plucked from the heights of Broadway to the depths of the Bowery," will play Joe's Pub March 27.

The one-night-only concert is scheduled to include performances by Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris, who is currently starring in the acclaimed revival of Sweeney Todd, as well as Theo Bleckmann, Julie Atlas Muz, Taylor Mac, Adam Dugas, Rachelle Garniez, Julian Fleischer, Helen Stratford, Daniel Isengart, Taylor Mac and DJ Vaginal Davis. Show time is 11:30 PM. "Performances of Weimar-era music by Kurt Weill and others," read press notes, "will be mixed with twenty-first century downtown cabaret acts and embody and update the Weimar spirit."

Michael Cerveris, who won a Tony Award in the revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Weidman's Assassins, was also Tony-nominated for his performance in the title role of The Who's Tommy, a part he also played for two years in Germany. Cerveris originated the role of architect Thomas Andrews in the Tony-winning musical Titanic and also appeared onstage in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Total Eclipse, Abingdon Square, Life Is a Dream and the Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center and Ravinia Festival mountings of Passion. He currently stars opposite Patti LuPone in the revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre.
