News Weller, Horovitz and More to Be Read in Cherry Lane Reading Series "Tongues" "Tongues," a new reading series to be held throughout November at Off Broadway's Cherry Lane Theatre, will give voice to new works by Michael Weller, Israel Horovitz and other lesser-known scribes.

The event, which kicked off on Sept. 11 with Horovitz's 9/11-themed 3 Weeks in Paradise, continues on Nov. 12 with Bulrusher by Eisa Davis. The following days will bring readings by David Batan, Tasha Ross, Sam Forman, Matthew McGuire, Glyn O'Malley, Graeme Gillis and Victoria Stewart. "Tongues" is dedicated to the memory of Joseph Chaikin. All tickets for all readings are $5 suggested donation. Cherry Lane is located at 38 Commerce St.
