Entertainment Events Inc., and Waxman Williams Entertainment with Robert Dragotta are presenting the U.S. premiere of the hit Canadian musical that was once known as Menopositive! The Musical. Performances play Off-Broadway's Theater at St. Luke's on West 46th Street in the theatre district.

The musical "tells the story of four 50-plus women putting together a show for their 35th high school reunion," and has a book by JJ McColl and score by McColl and Rueben Gurr. JJ McColl, a veteran of the Canadian Broadcasting Company, based We're Still Hot on stories she recorded of dozens of women at a series of potluck dinners.

The show has been seen at theatres in Ontario, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. In New York, Sue Wolf directs a cast that features Deirdre Kingsbury, Marnee Hollis, Jane Seaman and Deborah Jean Templin. Cheryl Freeman, previously announced, left the company.

Musical direction is by Alan Plado. Designers are Takeshi Kata (set), Philip Heckman (costume), Greg Cohen (lighting) and Drew Levy (sound).

Theater at St. Luke's is at 308 W. 46th Street, the former home of Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding, Late Nite Catechism and Maybe Baby It's You. Performances will be Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8 PM, with matinees Wednesday at 2 PM, Saturday and Sunday 3 PM.
