Carpenter, recently seen at Second Stage Theatre in Gruesome Playground Injuries, appeared on Broadway in The Crucible and is a regular on the Showtime series "Dexter."
Seyfried appeared in the film version of the musical Mamma Mia! Her other screen credits include "Red Riding Hood, "Letters to Juliet," "Dear John" and "Chloe," and the TV series "Big Love," "Veronica Mars" and "As the World Turns."
