The London production of the award-winning musical has announced that it will ends its run May 31. The production, a vehicle for the choreographic talents of Susan Stroman, opened at the Queen's Theatre Oct. 23, 2003.
Contact is divided into three stories: the first set in eighteenth-century France, the second in a 1950’s New York restaurant patronized by the Mafia, and the third in modern-day New York where a successful but lonely advertising executive makes contact with his emotions when he falls for a girl in a yellow dress at a low-life dance club.
A huge hit in New York, Contact's London production stars Leigh Zimmerman, Michael Praed, Sarah Wildor and Craig Urbani.
