Omid Djalili, Tim McInnerny, Samantha Bond and Georgia Moffett lead the cast of Sean Foley's production, which also features Jason Thorpe and Nick Hendrix.

Orton's final play, completed in July 1967 less than a month before he was killed by his partner Kenneth Halliwell, premiered at the West End's Queen's Theatre in March 1969.  According to press materials, "when psychoanalyst Dr. Prentice (McInnerny) instructs his new secretary (Moffett) to undress, little does he expect to be interrupted by his wife (Bond), her blackmailing lover, a meddling government inspector Dr Rance (Djalili) and an inquisitive policeman (Thorpe). But hiding a naked woman is the least of his worries, as libidos run riot, identities are swapped and social decorum is buried."

Djalili is a British-Iranian stand-up comic and actor. He has previously appeared in the West End taking over as Fagin in Oliver! at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. His film credits include "The Mummy," "Gladiator," "Spy Game," "Mean Machine," "Modigliani," "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow," "Casanova," "Pirates of the Caribbean:  At World’s End," "The Love Guru," "The Infidel" and "Sex and the City 2."  TV credits include "Small Potatoes," "Dinutopia," "Whoopi" and "The Omid Djalili Show."

McInnerny is best known as Lord Percy and Captain Darling in four series of TV's "Blackadder."  His stage roles have included the title role in Hamlet (National Theatre) and Frank N Furter in The Rocky Horror Show (West End).

Bond, who is best known on film for her role as Miss Moneypenny in several of the Bond films and also plays Lady Rosamund Painswick in "Downton Abbey," has appeared most recently in the West End in An Ideal Husband at the Vaudeville, Arcadia at the Duke of York’s and Donkeys' Years at the Comedy.  Moffett's TV roles include Jenny in "Dr. Who," Emma in "White Van Man" and Lady Vivian in "Merlin." Her stage credits include Total Eclipse at the Menier Chocolate Factory and Getting Through at the Royal Court.

Thorpe appeared as Desmond Lovely and Alan Dick in BBC Four's hit comedy "Holy Flying Circus" and as Cavalletto in the 2008 BBC dramatization of Dickens' "Little Dorrit."  Recent theatre work includes Absurd Person Singular at the Leicester Curve, Terry Pratchett's Nation at the National Theatre and Hound of the Baskervilles in the West End.

Hendrix, who is making his West End debut, graduated from RADA in 2010. He has previously appeared in the national tour of Journey's End.

What the Butler Saw is directed by Sean Foley, recently represented in the West End by his production of The Ladykillers at the Gielgud. For the Right Size, which he co-founded, he created over ten original comedies, including The Play What I Wrote that ran in the West End and on Broadway.
