News West End Production of Long-Running Art to Close Jan. 2003

Art will finally end its West End run on Jan. 4, 2003, after a lifespan of over six years, having opened at Wyndham's on Oct. 15, 1996, and then moving to its current (and final) home, The Whitehall, on Oct. 15, 2001.

The cast from Sept. 16 to Oct. 12 will be Colin Haigh, Gareth Harris and Michael Gyngell.

The final cast (cast 27) will be Mark Gatiss (Serge), Steve Pemberton (Marc) and Reece Shearsmith (Yvan), otherwise known as The League of Gentlemen.

Their first performance will be on Monday, Oct. 14, and there will be a press night on Monday, Oct. 28.
