West End Waitress Will Host Cast Album Karaoke Sessions

London theatregoers will have the chance to take to the West End stage to belt out at Waitress. The upcoming U.K. premiere will host two “Cast Album Karaoke” sessions, continuing a popular post-show series that began at the Sara Bareilles musical on Broadway.

At the February 19 and March 18, 2019, performances, interested audience members will be able to sign up for the chance to sing one minute of any song from the show on stage, accompanied by music director Katherine Woolley, following the curtain call.

As previously reported, performances will begin February 8 at the Adelphi Theatre, where opening night is set for March 7. Katharine McPhee will take center stage as Jenna, having made her Broadway debut in the role earlier this year. Joining her will be David Hunter as Dr. Pomatter, Marisha Wallace as Becky, Laura Baldwin as Dawn, and Peter Hannah as Earl.
