At the concert she will showcase songs from the album. According to press materials, the album fuses an innate theatrical sensibility with a raw, angst rock vibe, for the Spring Awakening and Lady Gaga generation. Her musical influences range from Alanis Morissette and Skunk Anansie to Stephen Sondheim.

Atherton's other West End roles include the lead roles of Sophie in Mamma Mia!, Serena in Fame and Cathy in Jason Robert Brown’s The Last 5 Years. She is also an experienced concert artist, having headlined numerous musical engagements at venues as diverse as the Donmar Warehouse and the Royal Albert Hall.

Her debut album, "A Girl of Few Words," is one of the best-selling musical theatre releases of recent years. Other recording credits include the original cast recordings of A Spoonful of Stiles & Drewe, Christmas in New York and Just So.

"Julie Atherton: No Space for Air" is produced by Neil Eckersley and Paul Spicer for Speckulation Entertainment, with musical direction by Craig Adams.
