In addition, there are plans for an international roll-out, including a Broadway bow in spring 2011, and other productions across Europe and the Far East. A German production will open in Hamburg in December 2010, to be followed by the Broadway opening, then further productions planned for Vienna, Amsterdam, Korea, Japan, Spain, Italy and France. According to a press statement, the production at the London Palladium – which opened June 2009 – will finish there, as previously agreed with Really Useful Theatres, in order to make way for Really Useful's new stage production of The Wizard of Oz, for which a Dorothy is currently being sought by a primetime reality TV casting show on BBC1.

During its run at the London Palladium it will have played for over 600 performances to audiences of almost 1 million people. We’re all very excited about the next few years and the prospect of the show running in different cities, from our new London home, to Broadway and Hamburg and beyond.
