Following the cancellation last week — , due to technical difficulties — of the first two previews for the new Queen musical We Will Rock You, the late matinee on May 3 has now been called off.
This cancellation is reportedly less to do with "technical problems" than with changes to the script. Small changes are being made daily, and the canceled performance time will be used for extra rehearsals. After more than six years in development, the show is still on schedule to receive its world premiere on May 14, 2002.
