The seven-show season includes recent hits, modern revivals of classic musicals and a new, genre-bending theatrical event.
The show schedule follows:
West Side Story, a revival of the classic musical directed by its Tony-winning librettist Arthur Laurents; Nov. 30-Dec. 19, 2010. Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, Jan. 5-23, 2011. Traces, a production of French Canadian company 7 Fingers, was a runaway hit of the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and is billed as "a fusion of musical, drama and circus"; Jan. 11-Feb. 20, 2011 in the Ricardo Monatalban Theatre. Rock of Ages, an arena-rock love story told through the hits of rockers like Journey, Pat Benatar and Poison; Feb. 15-27, 2011. Musical #5: Title to be announced. Burn the Floor, a blend of Latin and ballroom dance, brings the talents of 20 award-winning international dancers to one stage; April 26-May 8, 2011. Shrek The Musical, based on the DreamWorks film of the same name, tells the story of a swamp-dwelling ogre, his wise-cracking donkey sidekick and the feisty princess he must rescue; July 12-Aug. 7, 2011.
