News Westchester Staging of In the Heights Adds Perry Young, Christina Aranda and More to Cast Perry Young and Christina Aranda will join Broadway cast member Arielle Jacobs in the Westchester Broadway Theatre staging of In the Heights, which will begin performances Feb. 7.

As previously reported, the WBT staging of the the Tony Award-winning musical about the colorful inhabitants of Washington Heights will reflect the work of its original Tony-winning choreographer, Andy Blankenbuehler.

Jacobs, who played Nina in the national tour and Broadway productions of In the Heights, will reprise her role, with FaTye as Benny, Young as Usnavi, Aranda as Abuela Claudia, Joey Sanzaro as Piragua Guy and original Broadway ensemble dancer Michael Fiedler.

The cast also includes Ryan Alvarado, Devon Buchanan, Sarita Colon, Greer Gisy, Lauren Guerra, Alannah Halliday, Gizel Jimenez, Greg Laucella, Nina V. Negron, Benjamin Perez, Antuan Raimone, Nicole Paloma Sarro, Gabriella Sorrentino, Ariana Valdes, Voltaire Wade-Greene and Timothy Wilson.

Penned by Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda, with a libretto by Pulitzer Prize winner Quiara Alegria Hudes, In the Heights will be staged for WBT audiences by John Fanelli. Morgan Marcel will re-create Blankenbuehler's original choreography. Shelton Becton will serve as musical director. Antuan "Magic" Raimone will serve as Marcel's asstant and the dance captain.

In the Heights will run Feb. 7-March 17. Fanelli's Standing Ovation Studios presents the Westchester run. The production will have set design by Steve Loftus, sound design by Jonathon Hatton, costume design by Maria Castaldo and lighting design by Mark Cantore.

In the Heights earned Tony Awards for Best Musical and Best Original Score, as well as Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations (Alex Lacamoire and Bill Sherman).
