A grand-style Act Two entrance by actress Stephanie J. Block (who plays Edwin Drood) includes a pooch in hand. Macaco will play the Wednesday matinee and return Thursday.

Banana Joe's handler Ernesto Lara and co-owner and breeder Mieke Cooijmans, along with the Roundabout Theatre Company's cast of The Mystery of Edwin Drood, the musical comedy murder mystery, will take post-show photos with the canine star (while Macaco gets quietly drunk at the Paramount Hotel bar, perhaps).

Studio 54 is at 254 W. 54th Street. For more information about the Roundabout production, visit RoundaboutTheatreCompany.org.
