The 7 PM presentation is part of Westport's ongoing Script in Hand playreading series. Playhouse artistic advisor Anne Keefe will direct.

Mays is currently in rehearsals for the Broadway revival of Gore Vidal's The Best Man. He earned a Tony Award for I Am My Own Wife. Atkinson delivered Tony-nominated performances in Enchanted April and The Rainmaker. They will be joined by Michel Gill (A Man for All Seasons) and Doug Stender (Our Lady of 121st St.)

According to Westport, "Stage Struck is about an ex-stage manager (Mays) who now keeps house for his bread-winning actress-wife (Atkinson) while amusing himself with various sexual adventures. He is a thoroughly happy man until his wife informs him, based on a psychiatrist's advice, that she is throwing him out and cutting him off. He plans revenge on his wife and the psychiatrist (Stender), drawing on his stagecraft expertise and delving into his old bag of theatrical tricks."

Tickets for the Script in Hand series are $15. For tickets, visit WestportPlayhouse.
