PlayBlog asked Baldwin for her Tony weekend itinerary, and she delivered. Here's her Saturday-Tuesday plan, which sounds like a traveler's nightmare — and a very happy showbiz dream.
SATURDAY JUNE 12
3:30 PM (London time) Matinee of Paradise Found at the Menier Chocolate Factory, which proudly boasts 15 Tony nominations this year.
6 PM Dinner (definitely) and nap (hopefully).
8 PM Evening performance
10:45 PM Head to London apartment to pack (lightly) and to sleep (also lightly).
SUNDAY JUNE 13
5 AM (London time, midnight NYC time) Stagger to car, which will proceed to Heathrow. I am joined by fellow cast mate and Memphis producer Pamela Kashani. She is delightful. Probably even at 5AM.
7:55 AM Depart Heathrow. Try to sleep (excitedly)
1:45 PM (NYC time) Arrive at LaGuardia International Airport. Anxiously buzz through customs and hail a cab to the Upper West Side of my beloved Manhattan.
2:45 PM Arrive home to husband and a moment of quiet before the second storm.
3 PM Frederic Boudet and Carlo Longo (hair and makeup experts) show up ready to glamorize one very sleepy but ecstatic gal.
5 PM Slip into Joanna Mastroianni gown, Verdura jewelry and Jimmy Choos.
5:15 PM Happily sip champagne with husband Graham Rowat, manager Jeff Berger and agent Tim Sage.
5:30 PM Climb into SUV to head to the red carpet.
6:15 PM Arrive at Radio City Music Hall and enter the fray of beautiful people.
7 PM Sit down in the eighth row, center aisle, right behind Kevin Chamberlin.
:01 PM Resist urge to touch Kevin's badass bald head.
7:02 PM Clap and smile! Worship Bill T. Jones! Say hi to Ted Chapin! Try to find other people I know during the commercial breaks!
PM Pretend it doesn't feel like 4 AM even though that's what it is in London and stagger to the Tony after-party.
11:05 PM Come to my senses and go home to Upper West Side. Or not.
MONDAY JUNE 14
?? AM Wake up and take Graham to breakfast for his birthday. No homemade cake this year...blueberry pancakes instead! Give him all the presents I bought for him in London.
Noon Hail a taxi to LaGuardia airport.
:30 PM Join Pam, Tim and son Timothy Kashani on transatlantic flight No. 2. Swap Tony stories while high above the ocean. Sigh.
TUESDAY JUNE 15
:20 AM (London time) arrive at London's Heathrow airport and groggily proceed through customs.
PM Step into the Menier and prepare for the evening performance of Paradise Found.
11 PM Collapse into bed, wonder if it was all a dream, feel thankful for all the good things that have led me here.
