If you're wondering what all the Lillias White fuss is about, you have plenty of ways to find out for yourself this week -- even if you don't have tickets to her Broadway musical The Life.

White, who won the Tony Award June 1 as Best Featured Actress in a Musical in the show, is featured on two major CD releases, the original cast album of The Life, which is scheduled to be will be released on Sony classical June 3, and on the soundrack (released last week) of the forthcoming Disney cartoon Hercules.

Her big song on The Life is "(I'm Getting Too Old for) The Oldest Profession." Featured with her on the album is Chuck Cooper, winner of the Tony as Best Featured Actor in a Musical.

In Hercules, White plays one of the muses, Calliope, who narrates the animated film. She serves as lead singer on "The Gospel Truth I," "Zero To Hero" and "A Star Is Born."

Also featured on the Hercules soundtrack is LaChanze (L.A. Ragtime), Susan Egan (Broadway's first Belle in Beauty and the Beast) and Cheryl Freeman (star of the just closedPlay On!).

The Life has music by Cy Coleman, lyrics by Ira Gasman. Hercules has music by Alan Menken, lyrics by David Zippel.
