News Which Hedwig and the Angry Inch Star Will Sit Down With Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show"? Tony nominee Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon, Jersey Boys), who will step into the title role of the Tony-winning Hedwig and the Angry Inch later this month, will be a guest on the Aug. 13 broadcast of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

The telecast will also feature an interview with Grammy winner Taylor Swift and musical guest Ryan Adams. "The Tonight Show" airs at 11:35 PM ET; check local listings.

“The Tonight Show” tapes before a live studio audience from the newly renovated Studio 6B in Rockefeller Center.

The Broadway premiere of cult rock musical Hedwig began previews March 29 at the Belasco Theatre, prior to an official opening April 22, starring Neil Patrick Harris in the title role. Tony winner Harris will continue with the production through Aug. 17; Rannells, who begins Aug. 20, is contracted for eight weeks.
