News White Plains PAC's Songs for a New World Will Feature 30-Piece Orchestra; Casting Announced The White Plains Performing Arts Center's upcoming production of Jason Robert Brown's Songs for a New World will be presented July 8 and 9 at 8 PM and July 10 at 2 PM.

Directed by Jeremy Quinn, the production will feature a 30-piece orchestra.

The cast will comprise Gina Gentile, Paul Ianniello, Travis McClung, Gina Noto, Triona O'Callaghan, Shane O'Neill, Matt Savoca, Emily Tarpey, Joe Venice and Alison Zaret.

"Brown transports his audience from the deck of a 1492 Spanish sailing ship to a ledge 57 stories above Fifth Avenue to meet a startling array of characters ranging from a young man who has determined that basket-ball is his ticket out of the ghetto to a woman whose dream of marrying rich nabs her the man of her dreams and a soulless marriage," according to press notes.
