Mighty Real: A Fabulous Sylvester Musical is a new musical that celebrates the life of the original 1970's disco queen, Sylvester. Tonight's special performance event will be the first meeting between Sylvester's musical collaborator, dance music legend Martha Wash, and the Mighty Real cast and creators – actors Anthony Wayne (Pippin, Anything Goes, Priscilla Queen of the Desert), Anastacia McCleskey (Violet, The Book of Mormon) and Jacqueline B. Arnold (We Will Rock You, Priscilla Queen of the Dessert) and creator Kendrell Bowman.
Previews for Mighty Real: A Fabulous Sylvester Musical will begin Off-Broadway at Theatre at St. Clement’s (423 W. 46th Street) Sept. 5. The show runs Sept. 14 - Oct. 5.
