Olivier Award nominee Patina Renea Miller, who starred in the London premiere of the musical, will repeat her role on Broadway. The show features lyrics by Glenn Slater set to Menken's music. Zaks has taken over as director for the Broadway run of the show, with Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane at work on a new book; the original book is by Emmy Award winners Cheri and Bill Steinkellner.
