News Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Tour Starring Kathleen Turner Begins in 2007 in D.C. A national tour of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, starring Kathleen Turner, will begin a five-city U.S tour on Jan. 7, 2007, at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

The production will stay at the Center until Jan. 28. A stay at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles will follow. Dates are Feb. 7-March 18, 2007.

Other stops include San Francisco and Tucson. Dates for those cities are yet to be announced. According to Kathleen Turner's official website, the production will also reach Chicago. The La Salle Bank Theatre is the likely venue.

Also in the cast are Bill Irwin, also from the 2005 Broadway staging of the Albee classic. Anthony Page once again directs. Irwin won a Tony Award for his portrayal of George in the show. The mounting also played a run in London in early 2006.

The Broadway revival opened March 20, 2005, and closed Sept. 5 after 8 previews and 177 performances.
