International News Wicked Alum Emma Hatton Will Star in Evita in London's West End The limited engagement will begin performances at the Phoenix Theatre July 28.
Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's international hit musical Evita, which made stage stars out of original title players Elaine Paige and Patti LuPone, will return to the West End next month.

Directed by Bob Tomson and Bill Kenwright, performances will begin at the Phoenix Theatre on Charing Cross Road July 28. The limited engagement is currently scheduled to continue through October 14.

The production will feature designs by Matthew Wright, choreography by Bill Deamer, and sound design by Dan Samson.

The cast will be headed by Emma Hatton, who has performed the role of Elphaba in the West End production of Wicked, in the title role with Italian performer Gian Marco Schiaretti as Che as well as Oscar Balmaseda, Sarah O’Connor, George Arvidson, Lewis Barnshaw, Jessica Ellen, Callum Fitzgerald, Kellie Gnauck, Dominic Adam Griffin, Joe McCourt, Jude Neill, Jordan Oliver, Chrissie Perkins, Oliver Slade, Matias Stegmann, and Yuval Zoref.
