The new VerveUMe deluxe edition, which will include bonus tracks and the single "Popular Song" by MIKA (featuring Ariana Grande), will be released digitally Oct. 29. It will arrive in stores Nov. 19. The two-disc set will also include deluxe packaging featuring the show's 10th Anniversary artwork, and a bonus booklet with new, updated essays by composer/lyricist Stephen Schwartz, and original novelist Gregory Maguire, whose book "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West" inspired the hit musical.

At the time of its December 2003 release, the original cast album of Wicked had the highest first-week sales of any Broadway cast recording since Jonathan Larson's Rent in 1996. As previously reported, in celebration of Wicked's 10th Anniversary, Playbill is going green with a special one-night-only edition featuring new artwork. Ushers will distribute a "greenified" edition of the Playbill, the second time the Playbill banner has been changed to green, (green Playbills were given out on Wicked's fifth anniversary), and the third time the yellow banner has been changed altered to honor a Broadway show.

Additional celebrations throughout October include a display of Wicked costumes and memorabilia at the NBC Experience Store in Rockefeller Plaza; and a social media event on the official Wicked Facebook and Twitter pages, which will celebrate fans and offer prizes from the company, including autographed memorabilia and items from the show.

The Gerswhin Theatre, the Broadway home of Wicked, will also undergo renovations of its seats, carpeting, bathroom facilities and front-of-house in anticipation of the show's anniversary.

The musical has a score by Schwartz, a book by Winnie Holzman, direction by Joe Mantello and musical staging by Wayne Cilento.

The production also features scenic design by Eugene Lee, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by Tony Meola, projections by Elaine J. McCarthy, wig and hair design by Tom Watson, music supervision and arrangements by Stephen Oremus, orchestrations by William David Brohn and dance arrangements by James Lynn Abbott.

Wicked won Tony Awards for Costume Design, Scenic Design and Best Actress in a Musical (Idina Menzel). It was nominated as Best Musical.

The musical is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Pictures, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone.
