NSO's Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke will conduct the National Symphony Orchestra. Guest vocalists include Christopher Johnstone and Nicole Parker.

This year's program, according to press notes, "explores American music from television shows, movies, and beloved Broadway musicals, with a veritable Who's Who of notable composers represented, including Aaron Copland, Mitch Leigh, Richard Rodgers, Marc Shaiman, Carole Bayer Sager, Stephen Schwartz, John Philip Sousa, and Claude-Michel Schönberg."

Parker, best known for her work in the TV sketch comedy "MADtv," is currently appearing as Elphaba in the national tour of Wicked. Actor and singer Johnstone alternates between opera and musical theatre, performing with the Glimmerglass Festival, Opera Pacific, Cincinnati Pops and the Boston Pops, among others.

The 90-minute program is free and open to the public. Gates open at 3 PM.
