Shane Scheel will produce the evening, which will consist of original songs and covers of classic soul tunes. According to press notes, "Worship at the church of high heels, sequins, booze, blues, soul, riffs and whistle-tones. Shoshana deftly creates an electrifying and unique experience for her audiences. … Music for the bruised, but not broken."

Bean starred in Wicked and Hairspray on Broadway and performed with Brian McKnight at the Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards. She has previously performed in concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center and Le Poisson Rouge in New York, at Barre Vermont in Los Angeles and at the Ambassadors Theatre in London. Her debut solo album, "Superhero," spawned a hit single of the same name, which received an Independent Music Award for Best R&B Song.
