News Wicked's Stone, Columnist Riedel Talk "Spin" on Nov. 21 Drama Desk Panel "Putting the Spin on Theater—The Art of Getting Press and Luring Audiences," is the title of the Nov. 21 Drama Desk Panel, set to take place at Tony's Di Napoli Restaurant on West 43rd Street in Times Square.

To discuss the topic will be a wide range of theatre professionals including Rick Elice, co-writer of Jersey Boys, creative consultant at Disney Studios, and former creative director of Serino Coyne; Bob Fennell, press agent for Wicked and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, among other shows; producer and theatre owner Stewart Lane; New York Post theatre columnist Michael Riedel; and Wicked and Spelling Bee producer David Stone. The discussion will be co-hosted by Peter Filichia, theatre critic for the Newark Star-Ledger, and Randie Levine-Miller, director of special events for The Drama Desk.

The cost for the buffet and discussion is $18 for members and $30 for Drama Desk guests and may be payable at the door by cash or check to The Drama Desk. Those planning to attend are requested to reserve now to guarantee admission. For reservations RSVP by e-mail to [email protected].

The buffet and reception will begin at 5 PM, and the panel discussion will start promptly at 6:15 PM.
