The Actor's Express, which produces "edgy, contemporary theatre" at the King Plow Arts Center in Atlanta, has named Wier (pronounced Ware) Harman as artistic director. Harman brings solid theatrical experience to the west end of Atlanta. A graduate of Yale's School of Drama, he worked at Seattle's Annex Theatre as a resident director before pursuing his graduate degree in directing. Harman has programmed theatre and music at the International Festival of Arts and Ideas in New Haven since 1997.
In his new capacity, Harman will choose plays and supervise the development of creative, marketing and fundraising efforts at the Actor's Express.
