PlayBlog Will Adam Lambert Mentor "American Idol" Finalists? Last year's "American Idol" runner-up, Adam Lambert, will likely mentor this season's finalists, according to EW.com.


A source close to the top-rated singing competition told EW.com that Lambert will likely be the guest mentor for the April 13 broadcast of the Fox series. The former Wicked cast member will also likely perform his single “Whattaya Want From Me” on the April 14 results show.

The nine contestants who are currently competing for the "America Idol" title are Aaron Kelly, Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Crystal Bowersox, Katie Stevens, Lee Dewyze, Michael Lynche, Siobhan Magnus and Tim Urban.

Among the many "American Idol" finalists and/or winners who have appeared on Broadway are Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young (both back on Broadway in Hair), Tamyra Gray, Constantine Maroulis (on Broadway in Rock of Ages), Frenchie Davis, Clay Aiken and Taylor Hicks (currently in the national tour of Grease).
