News Will Eno to Sign Copies of Middletown at Vineyard Theatre Dec. 4 Playwright Will Eno will sign copies of Middletown, his latest play currently running at the Vineyard Theatre, in an event open to the public following the Dec. 4 matinee.

Eno will autograph copies of Middletown, which has just been published by TCG Books, along with copies of his earlier plays The Flu Season and Thom Pain (based on nothing) at the event, which will take place from 5:15-5:45 PM. A limited number of scripts may be purchased at the theatre for $15 (cash only). Middletown, which depicts the growing friendship between a veteran resident and new transplant in a small American town, is directed by Ken Rus Schmoll and stars Heather Burns, Cindy Cheung, Johanna Day, Georgia Engel, David Garrison, Ed Jewett, McKenna Kerrigan, James McMenamin, Michael Park, Linus Roache, Olivia Scott and Pete Simpson.

The Vineyard previously described the play as "a deeply moving and funny new play exploring the universe of a small American town. As a friendship develops between longtime resident John Dodge (Roache) and new arrival Mary Swanson (Burns), the lives of the inhabitants of Middletown intersect in strange and poignant ways in a journey that takes them from the local library to outer space and points between."

The play will conclude its run at the Vineyard (108 East 15th Street) Dec. 5; call (212) 353-0303 or visit www.vineyardtheatre.org.
