The Signature Theatre has announced that Will Eno’s new play, set to debut at the Off-Broadway company in February 2017, now has a title: Wakey, Wakey. Lucille Lortel and Obie Award winner Eno, who is a Residency Five playwright at Signature, will also direct.

Performances of Wakey, Wakey will begin February 7 with an official opening night set for February 27. The engagement is scheduled to play through March 19 in the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center. Casting and design team will be announced at a later date.

Here’s how Signature bills the new show: “What are we here for? Is time a friend or an enemy? Do we all eventually end up in the same place, but take different routes to get there? This funny, moving, and thought-provoking new play challenges the notion of what really matters and recognizes the importance of life’s simple pleasures. (All of which might sound dreary, but there’s a chance this will be a really good experience.)”
