Nicholas Martin directs the production that features Houdyshell (Follies, Well) as Mrs. Fisher, with Rogers (Golden Age, The Submission) as Aubrey Piper, the titular show-off. It will run through June 29.
Completing the cast are Clea Alsip (The Killing of Sister George) as Amy Fisher, Mia Barron (The Coast of Utopia) as Clara Hyland, Nat DeWolf (Take Me Out) as Mr. Gill, Robert Eli (Tartuffe) as Frank Hyland, Adam LeFevre (Devil's Disciple, Mamma Mia!) as Mr. Fisher, Karl Baker Olson as Joe Fisher and Marc Vietor (Present Laughter, Grey Gardens) as Mr. Rogers.
According to Westport, "Set in 1920s Philadelphia, the title character in The Show-Off is Aubrey Piper, a blowhard, a first-rate annoyance, and a shameless liar - a show-off of the worst kind. He also happens to be marrying into the Fisher family, forcing the Fishers to learn to cope with this human oddity who has blustered his way into their lives."
Design team includes scenic designer Alexander Dodge, costume designer Gabriel Berry, lighting designer Philip Rosenberg and sound designer Drew Levy.
