Following William Leach's memorable turn in Shylock and Kim Hunter's special appearance in Alan Brody's Greytop In Love, the next show at Philadelphia's Walnut Street Studio Theatre, Apr. 21-May 3, will be The Gift, a world premiere written & directed by Walnut veteran Will Stutts.

Following William Leach's memorable turn in Shylock and Kim Hunter's special appearance in Alan Brody's Greytop In Love, the next show at Philadelphia's Walnut Street Studio Theatre, Apr. 21-May 3, will be The Gift, a world premiere written & directed by Walnut veteran Will Stutts. The Gift tells of a famous novelist giving a childhood friend a leg up in the literary world: by writing a book and allowing her to put her name on it. Starring in the show are E. Ashley Izard (Nelle) and Warren Kelley (Buddy). Designing The Gift are Cindy Felice & Conrad Maust (set), Colleen McMillan (costumes) and Scott Smith (sound).

Ending the Studio "season of premieres," May 19-31, will be By George, a world premiere by Frank Ferrante, playing playwright George S. Kaufman.
