Playbill.com premiered the first season of "It Could Be Worse." Over $60,000 was subsequently raised by fans of the series, via Kickstarter, for a second season.

Four a.m. productions, Playbill.com has learned, sent their over-400 backers a private message May 28 that included the news that "It Could Be Worse" will premiere on the cable network PIVOT June 8 as part of Gay Pride, beginning at 11 PM ET, in a post-Tony Awards timeslot. Hulu will also air both seasons of the dark comedy on their free site in July.

"It Could Be Worse," which concerns the life and career of hapless actor Jacob Gordon, played by Taylor, also features Adam Chanler-Berat as Ben Farrel, two-time Tony nominee Alison Fraser as stage star Veronica Bailey, Gideon Glick as Jacob's boyfriend Phillip Klein, Jarvis as agent Sam Atkinson, Tony Award nominee Nancy Opel as Jacob's mother Judy Gordon, Richard Poe as Jacob's father Leo Gordon and Audra McDonald as Jacob's shrink.
