LOS ANGELES -- The Creative Outlet Theatre Company presents The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams and directed by Craig Wargo, opening July 24 at the Stella Adler Theatre.
The show stars Heather Tom ("The Young and the Restless") and Barbara Babcock ("Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman").
The Glass Menagerie was Williams' first dramatic success. It's the story of a mother and her two children, and the daughter's suitor. The story examines characters who cling to a dream world that can easily be shattered.
Other Williams plays include Vieux Carre, Sweet Bird of Youth and Cat On A Hot Tin Roof.
The show runs 8 PM Friday and Saturday, and 7 PM Sunday, July 24 to Aug. 16, at the Stella Adler Theatre, 6773 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood. Tickets are $15. For information, call (213) 857-0207.
