News Willy Falk to Read with Little Women at York Through Oct. 24 Willy Falk, the original Chris in the Broadway production of Miss Saigon, will participate in Off-Broadway's York Theatre Company's staged readings of the musical Little Women, running through Oct. 24. The work, by Allan Knee (book), Kim Oler (music) and Alison Hubbard (lyrics), won the 1998 Richard Rodgers Development Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

Willy Falk, the original Chris in the Broadway production of Miss Saigon, will participate in Off-Broadway's York Theatre Company's staged readings of the musical Little Women, running through Oct. 24. The work, by Allan Knee (book), Kim Oler (music) and Alison Hubbard (lyrics), won the 1998 Richard Rodgers Development Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Little Women is a musicalization of Louisa May Alcott's novel of four sisters in Civil War-era New England. Falk, who was nominated for a Tony for his performance in Saigon, will play Fritz. Also in the cast are Elizabeth Brownlee, Kate Jetmore, Jean Louisa Kelly, John Leone, Joshua Wade Miller, Roxann Parker, Michelle Pirret, Gerianne Rapheal and Robert Stattel.

Thomas Edward West will direct the reading, according to an Equity casting notice. Mark Goodman is the music director. No cast has been selected.
