The Tony-nominated and Grammy Award-winning musical Smokey Joe’s Cafe: The Songs of Leiber and Stoller has returned to New York City and Playbill ClubSeats is offering the chance for theatregoers to win two tickets for the new Stage 42 production Off-Broadway.
The show features 40 of the most popular songs of the past century, including classics like “On Broadway,” “Stand by Me,” “Jailhouse Rock," “Hound Dog,” “Love Potion No. 9,” “Spanish Harlem,” “Yakety Yak,” and “Charlie Brown.” It celebrates the music of the legendary songwriting duo, Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, who provided hit after hit for icons like Elvis Presley, Ben E. King, The Coasters, and The Drifters.
The production stars Dwayne Cooper (Motown The Musical), Emma Degerstedt, John Edwards (Jersey Boys), Dionne D. Figgins (Motown The Musical), Nicole Vanessa Ortiz, Kyle Taylor Parker (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Jelani Remy (The Lion King), Max Sangerman, and Alysha Umphress (On the Town). It is also directed and choreographed by Emmy Award-winner Joshua Bergasse (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, On the Town).

The winner will receive a ticket voucher including the following information: Voucher Bearer will be entitled to two (2) tickets to Smokey Joe’s Cafe. The voucher is valid for all performances through 8/31,2018. All requests must be made at least 5 business days in advance of your first desired performance. Your request will be confirmed within 2 business days. Tickets must be picked up at the Stage 42 Box Office (422 W. 42nd Street, between 9th and Dyer Avenues) on the day of the performance, no later than 30 minutes prior to show time. In order to pick up tickets, you must present the voucher and an ID that matches the name on the reservation. Blackout dates may apply. All tickets are subject to availability.
