Javier Colon, the soulful singer from Connecticut, was named the winner of the new NBC singing reality program "The Voice" on the hit show's June 29 broadcasts.

Only two percent of the vote separated Colon from runner-up Dia Frampton. Colon wins a $100,000 cash prize, a recording contract and the title of "The Voice."

The Hollywood Reporter recently reported that the singing competition's eight finalists, who include Frenchie Davis, Beverly McClellan, Vicci Martinez, Dia Frampton, winner Javier Colon, Nakia, Xenia and Casey Weston, will be seen in a concert tour prior to the launch of the second season of "The Voice."

"Voice" coaches/judges Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, however, will not be part of the Live Nation tour.
