News Winther, Burgess and Dean Are Inspired By. . . Feb. 5 Inspired By. . . is the title of the Feb. 5 benefit concert for ProjectExplorer, which exposes school-age children to the traditions and cultures of the world.

The evening at the Gibson Entertainment Showroom in Manhattan will boast the talents of Titus Burgess, Bradley Dean, Angel Desai, Erin Leigh Peck, Jamison Stern and Michael Winther. (Aaron Lazar, who was originally set to be part of the evening, has withdrawn due to a scheduling conflict.) Mary Mitchell-Campbell is the musical director for the benefit. Show time is 7 PM.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit ProjectExplorer's South Africa film and multi-media project, which "will introduce students globally to the country's long conflict and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, the AIDS crisis, raising environmental awareness and the country rich ecosystems, and recent global initiatives to end extreme poverty."
