Wit and luck were two key factors in this year's Connecticut Critics Circle Awards -- that is, the shows with the most wins were Wit, at Long Wharf Theatre, and Lucky In The Rain at Goodspeed, both with three victories.

Announced June 9, the awards will be distributed June 15 at a 7:30 PM ceremony at Square One Theatre on Main St. in Stratford, CT. Now in their eighth year, the Connecticut Critics Circle Awards honor "outstanding contributions to Connecticut Theatre."
