With Eyes in Love plays 9:30 PM Jan. 16 and 21.

The show "explores the complex view of life and love as found in the songs of Rufus Wainwright, re-arranged, re-examined and re-told from the female perspective of Angela Scollo."

Music director Mary-Mitchell Campbell's arrangements put a fresh spin on pop writer Wainwright's music. Technical direction is by Shane Mathews. Stephen Bel Davies directs. Campbell is the new music supervisor and arranger of Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park's Company directed by Broadway Sweeney Todd director John Doyle. Bass player Taylor Hollyer sweetens the Scollo shows.

Scollo's cabaret shows include One Night Stand at Dillon's, Shut Up And Sing and The Feral Woman at Don't Tell Mama and The Duplex. Her theatre credits include Austin's Bridge, a new musical by Bill C. An early demo found itself in the hands of Dream Works exec Lenny Waronker, leading to the release of his first album "Rufus Wainwright," acclaimed by Rolling Stone as one of the best albums of the year." His second album, "Poses," brought similar acclaim.

The Hideaway Room at Helen's is located at 169 Eighth Avenue between 18th and 19th Streets in New York City. The show has a cover of $15 ($10 for AEA, MAC, Yale, Student, Hotline people) with a $15 food/drink minimum.
